Terms of use
These terms apply to the TwinFIT app (Android and Wear OS), published by REVO ENGINEERING (see the legal notice). By creating an account you accept them.
1. The service
TwinFIT helps you plan, record and analyse your strength and cardio workouts: an exercise catalog, templates and routines, set logging (by hand or in semi-automatic mode with a wrist sensor), history, progress and muscle status, a Wear OS app, a shareable workout card, and Twin, an assistant that answers your questions and drafts templates and routines.
Some features need the Premium subscription (see section 4). The automatic mode (exercise recognition and rep counting) is announced as “coming soon” and is not available yet.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- An account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and for what is done with them.
- You provide accurate information (in particular height and weight, which feed the calculations) and keep it up to date.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account (see Delete my account).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the app for unlawful purposes; try to access other users’ data or TwinFIT’s systems; copy, decompile or resell the app, its catalog, its illustrations or its models; disrupt the service (overload, abusive automation of Twin). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
4. Premium subscription
- Premium unlocks, among others: more than 3 templates, routines, the full history (1 month on the free plan) and a larger use of Twin.
- The subscription is bought and paid through Google Play, at the price shown in the app and on Google Play at the time of purchase. It renews automatically each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, from the Google Play subscription settings.
- Refunds follow Google Play’s rules. There is no free trial.
- When a subscription expires the account goes back to the free plan: the data stays, the Premium features lock.
5. Health and safety
TwinFIT is a tracking tool, not a medical service. Its analyses, estimates (load, 1RM, muscle status) and Twin’s answers are indicative. Twin is not a doctor: in case of pain, injury or a particular condition, see a healthcare professional before training. You remain solely responsible for how you train and for the loads you use.
6. Sensors and watch
The semi-automatic mode needs a compatible sensor (a Wear OS watch with an accelerometer and a gyroscope, or a WitMotion WT9011DCL sensor) worn on the left wrist. Detection can miss a set or count one by mistake: always check your session. Sensors and watches are sold by their manufacturers, who are responsible for their operation and warranty.
7. Intellectual property
The source code of the app and the website and the exercise catalog and taxonomy are the property of Jesús Sánchez Rodríguez, who licenses their use to REVO ENGINEERING. The exercise illustrations and muscle maps were made by Jesús Sánchez Rodríguez with generative artificial intelligence tools; they may not be reproduced without permission. The TwinFIT name and logo belong to REVO ENGINEERING. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the app. The training data you enter stays yours; you allow us to process it to provide the service (see the privacy policy).
8. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the service available and reliable, with no guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions (maintenance, outage, changes). To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damages and to the amount paid for the subscription over the last 12 months.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms; the update date is shown at the top of the page and the app will tell you about any important change. Using TwinFIT after an update means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, and failing an amicable solution, the French courts have jurisdiction.
